By electronically signing during the registration process, Users formally accept these terms and conditions.This acceptance is full and unconditional. Any acceptance subject to reservation shall be considered null and void. Users who do not accept these terms must not use the Services.The Services are accessible to registered Users. However, part of the Site is made available to non-authenticated visitors for demonstration purposes (see next section for details). A portion of the Site may be accessed free of charge without registration. This allows you to test the proper functioning of the Services and Content on your devices and to explore Vittascience's pedagogical approach.This browsing mode does not authorize the use of the Services in classrooms or in public.Certain editing features are reserved for registered Users.Creating a secure account (hereinafter the "Account") is free of charge through a registration form available on the Site. Registered Users are authorized to present the Services in class or in front of an audience, and benefit from several editing features such as creating resources, activities or learning paths and saving projects in the Cloud.The Services are accessible to any individual with full legal capacity to agree to these terms. Individuals without full legal capacity may only access the Services with the consent of their legal representative, or in the case of students under the supervision of an adult at their school or institution (teacher, principal, counselor, or exceptionally a student of legal age).Users can invite pupils or students (hereinafter the "Learners") to create groups or virtual classrooms, simplifying collaboration notably in remote learning contexts. In this case, the User is responsible for the Learners’ access to the Services, via an invitation code or by manually adding them.Access to the Services may also be provided through the Resources Access Manager (GAR), managed by the French Ministry of National Education. In this case, the Services become accessible through the digital workspace environment (hereinafter the "ENT") handled by the User’s affiliated school. This access complies with the requirements of the GAR Technical, Functional and Security Reference Framework (RTFS).
Only one Account may be created per person. VITTASCIENCE reserves the right to delete any additional accounts created by the same individual.Users agree to personally use the Services and not allow any third party to use them in their place.Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password and explicitly acknowledge that any use of the Services through their Account shall be deemed made by themselves.Users must immediately contact VITTASCIENCE using the contact information provided in Article 1 if they notice unauthorized use of their Account. They acknowledge that VITTASCIENCE may take appropriate measures in such cases.
The Vittascience platform allows Users to generate content using generative AI interfaces, for instance to create text or images. Publishing and generating Content as well as reactions to Content (hereinafter the "Comments") must comply with applicable laws. VITTASCIENCE attaches great importance to privacy and data protection. You are invited to consult our Privacy Policy.Where Users choose to access and use the Services via the GAR, the data required to create their Account and the Learners’ Accounts will be obtained by VITTASCIENCE through the GAR.VITTASCIENCE and the User acknowledge their status as joint data controllers regarding Learners’ data, pursuant to Article 26 of the GDPR. This reflects the respective responsibilities of VITTASCIENCE and the User, and the legitimate expectations of Learners, in accordance with the guidance of the competent authorities.To ensure proper compliance with GDPR obligations, VITTASCIENCE will inform Learners regarding the processing of their data through a "Privacy Notice" displayed directly in the Service interface they access.VITTASCIENCE will also handle, in collaboration with the User, any request from Learners to exercise their rights pursuant to Articles 15-22 of the GDPR.
The Site and all its components — including but not limited to the Vittascience trademark, logos, icons, infographics and photographs — are protected under international intellectual property law. Unless otherwise stated, these elements are the exclusive property of VITTASCIENCE. Any use, reproduction, or representation, by any means and on any medium, of all or part of the Site or its components is not permitted without the express consent of VITTASCIENCE.Some Content available on the Site is published under Creative Commons licenses, particularly certain programs, resources, activities and learning paths. The web-based format of the Services enables functionality across most modern browsers.
